Christmas Countdown: The Twilight Zone: The Night of the Meek & Carol for Another Christmas

A still from The Twilight Zone: The Night of the Meek

“Christmas” and “Rod Serling” seem like an odd combination, or at least one that will end up being unsettling. Mostly, though, both of his Christmas-themed tales are about kindness and hope for humanity, even in the face of the darkness.

Christmas Countdown: My So-Called Life & Gilmore Girls

Luke and Lorelei at the hospital in "Forgiveness and Stuff"

What is Christmas without some teen angst? It’s weird for me to think that these episodes only aired about six years apart (“So-Called Angels” on December 22, 1994, and “Forgiveness and Stuff on December 21, 2000) because in my head, they’re from two different eras of television.

Christmas in Soulsville - Various Artists Tree has been decorated! Boston -- Boston I bought this at a used bookstore. The crafts seem to date from the early 1950s to the early 1970s. I have such a soft spot for vintage crafts -- yes, you get a lot of straight up weird things but there's also cool things I never thought of and want to try. It was a good purchase. Happy Thanksgiving! I thought my DVD of Tsui Hark's All About Women was long gone, but nope! I still have it! It was cold today but the forest was pretty. I love how close nature is to me here. Florence and the Machine - Everybody Scream I've started making gel plate prints. I'm still learning but it's been a fun process. It's a little unpredictable but that is part of why I enjoy it. I look forward to doing more (It's been ... maybe a week? And I haven't done it every day. I'm already impressed with my progress.)
